Trying really had not to dislike this horse because of his owner. But I honestly cannot stand his owner. Regardless, this was an impressive win.

Hope he will run fine in New York. Though the field he faced was poor, he looked great here.

This was an hour away from me. My mom tells me I could've gone if I'd have asked her instead of my stepdad. ARE YOU KIDDING ME. Anyway, Hansen had this in the bag. I just wanted to see the beauty in person.

Can you do the 2002 pacific classic and the 2002 travers?

Whether you're a fan of this horse or not? You've got to really respect Hansen's work ethic on the racetrack. Win, lose, or draw, he bust his heart to try and win every race he runs in. His running style reminds me a great deal of another gray/roan horse from a few years ago. The filly Careless Jewel's running style was very much like Hansen's. She sprung out of the gate, went flying to the lead, and said come catch me if you can. And much luck Hansen, more often than not they didn't catch her.

Yes I know. I have a lot of respect for owners and trainers who bring back their horses for at least their 4yo campaigns. :)

Well then imo as well so many gret horses dont come back after their 3yo year and its bad for the industry in recent years, Uncle Mo, Lookin At Lucky, Summer Bird, Ill HAve Another could have been simpy put under rest and brought back, and Bodemeister isnt coming back either. However I have lots of respecto for the owners of Animal Kingdom, Shackleford and Caleb's Posse. They latter two have formed a great rivalry that has provided much excitement

I suspect his Beyer number won't blow up anyone's skirt, but Hansen did what he was asked, & did what he needed to win. Sort of a paid public workout, confidence booster, something for the fans, plus extra pocket money to make up for lost revenues these past several months.

What's even better is that his connections have been quoted saying they will bring him back next year, which is fantastic and I hope they stick to that. Hate seeing horses shipped off to the breeding shed after only their 3yo season. Need to see more coming back imo. Go Hansen, the great white hope!

What a perfect spot for Hansen. They ran him on synthetic in the Bluegrass. Then he ran in a 20 horse monster race. The horse had to be reminded what a normal race was, and how good he really is.
