    I can't believe we only sent these 2 over for such a valuable and winnable race,it was worth £403k!! to the winner.The first 2 toughed it nicely though..

    Great race!! Not that he's too shabby with horses on conventional dirt either, but Shug McGaughey once again shows why he's the best trainer in America on turf for my money. Mr Speaker was the longest price on the board for the Belmont Derby. Aidan O'Brien should also be proud of another very gritty and determined effort from Adelaide, especially given that he was only 2 weeks removed from a very tough 12f race at Ascot in the G2 King Edward VII Stakes and had to ship from Ireland to the United States for the race on top of that.
