| Race Synopsis: Stratum Star was away well from his inside barrier (1) and was taken forward to settle down in third position on the fence on the back of the leader Macintosh, who set a solid tempo in front stringing the field out over plenty of ground. Stratum Star travelled particularly well throughout and when he eased across heels on straightening he lengthened well and responding to riding to get his head in front right on the post. Scales Of Justice ran well in defeat. He was used up from his wide barrier (15) to race on the outside of the leader. He made first run on turning for home, putting a break on the field, to only be run down right on the post. Perfect Reflection enjoyed a lovely run in the race sixth on the fence. She stayed towards the inside on turning for home before staying on gamely for a well beaten third. Kawi raced in mid field one out with a trail. He turned for home on the outside of the field and put in a bit of a finish in the straight but he peaked on his run and was only staying on at the one pace to the line for fourth. | |
