Top marks to jockey William Buick for a near perfect ride on Wuheida in this race. Box-seated against the rail in 3rd right behind the speed going moderate fractions. It doesn't get much better. She really didn't have to move a muscle until Buick asked her to go and win her race. That said, I do however believe Wuheida was fortunate this year's renewal of the Filly & Mare Turf was run at 9f instead of it's usual trip of 10f. Had the race been run at 10f, I think it's quite likely that Wuheida may have had Rhododendron finishing all over the top of her, IMO.

Hate to see Lady Eli go out like that. Nothing happens to her and she wins this race.
