One of the great hurdlers of the modern era, Istabraq was a three-times winner of the Champion Hurdle at the #CheltenhamFestival. This was arguably the hardest-fought of any of his victories on what proved to be his last start in Ireland, and although on the decline at this stage, his victory was still welcomed as warmly as any by the Leopardstown crowd.
