| Race Synopsis: Godolphin’s three-year-old colt Lassitude looks the
makings of a very promising stayer following up his good win in 3YO
Maiden Plate (1800m) at Randwick on 4 November with another
impressive win here. He settled nicely in fourth place, one out and
one back, following a solid tempo. He was giving the leader about
five lengths at the 600m, improved well to challenge on straightening
and then raced right away to win by just over four lengths, running the
1900m out strongly. He should appreciate further still and looks to
have quite a future. | |
