As tributes continue to pour in for the great Kauto Star, Dan Skelton, who knew the horse better than most, and Richard Johnson, who faced the horses several times, spoke to ATR and shared their thoughts on the legend that was Kauto Star.
I'm not sure what was meant by "over-humanize"... but in 2015 , animals deserve all the love and attention that comes their way.. Animal abuse is rampant, slaughterhouses are beyond your worst nightmares, and so many "pets" can't find a home.. They FEEL things just like we feel things; and therefore deserve our compassion.. And finally, it's well known that those who eat an animal-based diet, are at higher risk of disease and inflammation.
And so, in this ever expanding f*cked up world of ours, which most of you (ignorantly or unknowingly) look the other way from, it's in our best interests to love all creatures the best we can.. it works out for everyone :)
