Political Force went on to win the Suburban two years later, Thron Song is a multiple graded stakes winner (including the Shawell Turf Mile) and Superfly finished third in that year's Champagne Stakes. Discreet Cat may have been the most talented horse of the apst years among with Bernardini and Ghostzapper.
Totally agree! Discreet Cat was an amazing sprinter; his time of 1:32.46 in the 2006 Cigar Mile was just 1/5 of a second off of the great Dr. Fager's mile record. Yes, Discreet Cat sure was something. It's sad he didn't do so well at the end of his career. Nevertheless, a very fine horse!
