Nice to see a Black Caviar fan also appreciate Frankel... 2 great champions, the best at what they do :)

Match race against a sprinter and a miler? Hmmm... It's like putting Usain Bolt against Mo Farah, not gonna happen...

Pity we never saw a match race with our champion Black Caviar but both horses remain undefeated and immortalised. 13-0 and 22-0, just amazing.

In my eyes, Frankel eclipses Sea The Stars as an all time flat racing great. Can't wait for the Champion Stakes on Saturday 20th October.

I get what your saying but my point would be that he is fantastic, awsome and so lets not spoil it. Black caviar is omg stunning and super sprinter in the world but she has only raced outside her country once... and i really wish people wouldnt keep on comparing these 2 equines as they are complete opposites of the spectrum. i am proud and privelaged and very very happy that our frankel has stayed in our country...

yes a horse can because its not about what county they run in.... frankel has won at different distances, he is relentless, he finishes past the line.... he is the top rated horse in the world because of these.... he has raced against fantastic horses and out of all the horses he has beatn there has been 69 group 1 winners from those he beat... and thats just the beginning...

Ive had a read at most the comments on Frankel and the people who question this been a true legend and best horse ever because it hasnt run in another country is just ridiculous, Ive been betting for almost 40 years and i wont ever see a better horse in my life time even if i lived till i was 200 years old,The only question people should ask is it really a Horse or is it a Machine.

The best racing is in Europe. Black Caviar came to Ascot because winning a sprint race at Ascot, Is prestigious and there was a bonus for the owners from some Australian racing authority if she won at Ascot. I understand the arguement against Frankel not racing abroad but theres been many past champions never to race outside there countries. Brigadier Gerard, Kingston Town, Secretariat, Zarkava most recently. It won't affect Frankels reputation as an all time great...

i know people are just hating on him because he's not from there country it just makes me laugh now because they make themselves look very stupid going on like they know more than expert's of frankel could miss the break by 5 length's and still beat any group 1 horse on the planet.

Perhaps a different track like ''Long Champ'' ? A horse should be rated only if he proves same outside his Comfort Zone!

Who would he need to beat outside the UK to be granted the best in the world? There isn't a horse within a stone of him on the International classifications...

Its your opinion and I respect it.

When determining whether a horse is the best in the world or not, I always thought it mattered more what kind of horses he's he or she has been racing more than whether he's raced outside of his home country or not? It's not as if Frankel has only raced on 1 or 2 racetracks exclusively or anything. He's raced and won at Newmarket, Goodwood, Doncaster, York, Ascot, and Newbury. I'd say it's fair to say Frankel's the best in the world.

Can a horse be rated best in the world when never run outside UK?
