Go learn the rules before you talk..... there was actually an entire new rule introduced (originating from buddy's kick) to not only stop him but all players from running off the mark when kicking. and what about hales kick im no afl goal umpire but there is no way that the goal umpire could convince me or anyone beyond a shadow of a doubt that the geelong player touched it.... therefore it should of been reviewed
I'd love to see the last five minutes again, from the last Hawthorn goal to the end of the match. That would give a better flavour of just what a comeback it was.
You honestly just sound like a massive bitch who wants to see Geelong lose because they've been on top and beat you last year. Of course you aren't a Hawthorn fan, I wouldn't expect a post like this from one, a Collingwood fan on the other hand, it's almost guaranteed.
Geelong lost to Port Adelaide in the final round of 2007 because they kept attacking right to the end of the game, even though they had the lead and possession. They learnt from it and got better at finishing close games. Maybe the Hawks will get something similar out of this one, as they definitely did enough to win it before Sewell's brain fart.
I'm glad we still won, but admittedly peeved we won by so little considering the lead. And you have to admit the umpiring was quite poor on both sides of the coin.
Nothing to be proud of Geelong fans... To give up such as big of a lead from quarter time. Pathetic!! As for your coach, How much more of a kid can he act like as far as umpiring decisions go. Then again, Clarkson isn't any better.
