i remember this race! the great galway blaze he was a star as it showed in this race he won at a canter and if im correct i think he broke the track record. after this he was talked of being as good as arkle but sadly he suffered back problems they rested him but he never recovered he was never seen again.
This was a top class hennessy,2 grand national winners and a gold cup winner that fell at the same fence denman fell at a couple of years ago. Mark Dwyer was a really stylish jockey who i believe copied one Graham Bradley.He looked mighty cool on one man when he won this race a bit later . Did Jamie Railton influence both of their styles??.Thank you for posting, this is better than emmerdale !!!
TOMMYFATWALLET007 yes i a gree with you this is the best quality gold cup aintree winners in but galway blaze arfter winning this race he despade from are screen when was last we show this horse now no i dear where did he go or when galway blaze never run in the cheltenham gold cup nor run the national at aintree can why is that?
backed galway blaze here had it in a dble with a unknown horse at ayr by the name THE THINKER , this race was full of quality gold cup and aintree national winners
