Empire had to check 2 times. You BLIND!!!! Tear your tickets now before the race if you going to bet Always Dreaming. Lucky if will be in top 3. Your record for picks is like the favorite here trainers record for triple crown races.
Both Always Dreaming and Classic Empire are tractible. > No advantage for either here Both Always Dreaming and Classic Empire have high cruising speed > no advantage Both jockeys are competent. > No advantage for either here Both horses have speed but CE has more, 102 vs. 108 BRIS > Advantage Classic Empire Both horses have been training well. > No advantage here One horse has more big race experience and more adversity. > Advantage Classic Empire Mig thinks Always Dreaming is a dominant Derby winner ignoring that Classic Empire lost more ground with his trouble than he was beaten by even though he ran in the worst part of the racetrack while Always Dreaming ran in the best part. Mig doesn't see quite as much speed as in the Kentucky Derby - sorry, Mig, there is more speed in the Preakness as Conquest Mo Money is both faster and has more stamina than State of Honor. With the two favorites next to each other, a speed duel could occur. Mig is right on about Cloud Computing. He's not ready yet. Mig thinks Multiplier will be second. Multiplier lacks seasoning and is bred for sprinting. Gunnevera is well trained, fit and fast and likes a fast track, not the mud. Also needs more of a speed duel up front. Bingo! Mig and Mag don't mention Hence. Like Gunnevera, Hence hated the mud and needs speed up front. Bingo! Will revert back to the form that won in The Sunland Derby. Mig, I agree with you that the Belmont will be more exciting if AD wins the Preakness. My picks: Classic Empire, Gunnevera or Hence first through third in any order, with Always Dreaming, Conquest Mo $, or Lookin at Lee for 4th
