I've notice that PM makes an almost... 'ballooning' shape at the top of the shape he makes over a fence: all four legs go out to the corners, rather than not, particularly when he clips one. With the result that there's a wider base on which to land and launch forward from...

Nice performance - he put Nichols Canyon to the sword and still had enough to hold off Footpad.. but I think it's clear to see the 2m division's crying out for the return of Faugheen.. He'd have won this by 15.. and only Brain Power (Nicky Henderson) seems capable of giving him a race.. Yanworth lacks tactical speed and ought to go Chasing or wait for the 2m 4f at Aintree.

If The Machine returns even 80%.. he'll join Hurricane and Comedy of Errors as the only Champions to ever regain their title! :)
