This race gave Daddy Long Legs his best chance of getting a win this carnival for Mike De Kock. They dropped into handicap company over 1800 meters which is the perfect trip for him. He just never fired on the tapeta at the same kind of level he had the year prior in his UAE Derby win. They shot too high with him right out of the gate running in the G3 Firebreak Stakes off a 6 month layoff, and he was never a factor in the G1 AMC Rd. 3 because he simply doesn't stay 2000 meters thoroughly enough
