I've really liked what I've seen out of Sanshaawes in Dubai in 2014. I don't know if trainer Mike De Kock is entertaining any plans of possibly stepping Sanshaawes up in class from handicaps into group level company for any of the Super Saturday or World Cup night races or not, but in these handicaps for 100+ rated horses at Meydan he's been among the top handicap horses at the carnival this year. I personally believe Sanshaawes would be capable of holding his own if stepped up to a G3 or G2 race like the Burj Nahaar or Godolphin Mile. The biggest question that would need answered would be if dropping back down in trip to 1600 meters would prove too sharp for him or not, IMO.
