After broadsiding Maui and lighting up Jaws, a monstrous Pacific swell turns its sights on Mavericks in Northern California. The usual suspects – local standouts like Peter Mel, Tyler Conroy, Anthony Tashnick, Nic Lamb and Pat Shaughnessy – did their usual deal and ruled their favourite super-sized wave, but on this occasion they were joined by an international crew of chargers too. Fresh from the Jaws sessions, guys like Nic Von Rupp, Russell Bierke, Othmane Choufani and Clint Kimmins all flew up and blew up, much to the delight of the masses.
