I was glad to read that Sir Michael Stoute and QE II have decided to skip the Melbourne Cup with Estimate. Never thought it was a race that would suit her that well anyway. It's a tough, grinding 2 miles at Flemington, coupled with the travel, quarantine, & acclamation, and it's just real tough on European horses. Would much rather see her show up on British Champions Day for the British Champions Long Distance Cup.
