2014 Grade 1 TwinSpires.com Wood Memorial winner Wicked Strong breezed four furlongs in 49.62 seconds on April 17 over the Belmont Park training track with exercise rider Kelvin Pahal aboard.
This horse is in form, fit, breezes and gallops out strong...nice strides...
Will he win the Derby? I don't know, probably but he will be coming down
flying late that I know...or if he can take over the lead by the stretch
and he can still hold off all the horses we have seen that as well...

I want to see more at CD, but I like this horse. California Chrome is
supposed to be at CD on April 28th. That's rather late. If CC , draws bad ,
or stumbles out of the gate, it could be over. We will see.
strong effort there, no question. Have to see him at CD. From what I've
seen so far (of the major contenders), California Chrome is going to be one
tough customer, assuming the tenth furlong is gettable. Could even be a
legit TC threat unless one of these moves forward in a big way. But this
one certainly has room to move forward (raced most of the stretch in Wood
on wrong lead).
