A late surge from Ryan Moore on Order of St. George wasn't enough to stop James Doyle riding 5-1 Big orange to Gold Cup victory.

This is glorious, I've been looking for "horse racing wagering sites" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Cenaubraay Passionate Fanboy - (should be on google have a look ) ? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my cousin got cool results with it.

Who will win the rematch lads? I'm thinking order of st George but it's been proven time and time again when a horse wins the same race the previous year they can have a shit season and then comes back for that same race and wins which tells me I should be on big orange for the goodwood cup

Last year's G1 Ladbrokes St Leger winner, Harbour Law, who ran a cracking good 3rd here in the Gold Cup unfortunately suffered a tendon injury during the running of this race that will end the rest of his 2017 flat season. Trainer Laura Mongan told the Racing Post, "after being on such a high last Thursday, it was devastating on Friday to find the injury." "But we have to stay positive. It's not career ending and we can get him back if we do everything right and look after him."

How is Moore giving the horse every chance is he goes nine wide into the bend he knew all the winners wore winning on the rail, order of st George should have won he finished the strongest just bad piloting on the day

Ryan Moore will take some considerable heat for the ride he gave Order of St George in this race, and probably rightfully so, but at the end of the day, once the dust settles, he was beaten a whisker by one of the gamest stayers in the division in Big Orange and was by no means disgraced, having gone down fighting with a pretty game effort of his own, IMO.

Churchill fluffed his lines in the St James's Palace Stakes and Order of St George his lines here in the Gold Cup, albeit with some help from the jockey, but top to bottom I'd say Coolmore had just as good of a royal meeting as Godolphin did. Even with a resurgence from this boys in blue at this year's royal meeting, Aidan O'Brien's horses still manged to win a lot of the major races he came there hoping to win, I.E., Highland Reel(Prince of Wales's Stakes), Caravaggio(Commonwealth Cup), Winter(Coronation Stakes), Idaho(Hardwicke Stakes), Sioux Nation(Norfolk Stakes), September(Chesham Stakes), + a couple of very game 2nd place efforts out of Spirit of Valor in the Jersey Stakes and Rain Goddess in the Sandringham Handicap.

Everyone giving Moore a lot of stick for the ride he gave the horse. I thought it was a good ride. Order of St. George had every chance of getting pass Big Orange if good enough, having got to his quarters in the last furlong. If got enough he should of won by a head. Ryan had him nice and switched of towards the rear. Then again both horse were victorious in my eyes, both ran their race. Maybe if Ryan had him closer to the pace he mightn't of even finish 2nd as we all know the brutal gallop Big Orange can maintain, theres probably not a gamer horse than Big Orange, other than Highland Reel, on his day.
