A few days after his win here in the BC Turf, trainer Andre Fabre told various members of the European racing media that he believes Talismanic has the speed to drop down in trip to 10f and that he believes Talismanic's pedigree suggest he could potentially run well on conventional dirt also. Fabre said he's considering sending Talismanic to Meydan in March to run in this year's G1 Dubai World Cup, and he said he'll likely send Arc 2nd, Cloth of Stars, over along with Talismanic to run in the G1 Dubai Sheema Classic. In the same interview Fabre said both horses are also being considered for a trip to Hong Kong in December for the International G1 races at Sha Tin.

Let's also not forget to mention his jockey is no stranger to the big dance. Barzalona won the Dubai World Cup on Monterroso. He's a gifted jockey!
