That long, racking stride and turn of foot he has on a flat track like York could make Barney Roy tough to peg back in the Juddmonte International, but if there's a horse in the field capable of doing it I think it's Churchill. I don't think there's any doubt that Royal-Ascot was a case of Churchill not firing or running anywhere near his best, and I still believe at his very best he's the best horse in the field. With Galileo on his top side, I don't see the step up in trip from 1600m to 2100m being an issue either, and I think it speaks volumes that given the choice to ride either horse in the race that jockey Ryan Moore has chosen to ride Churchill over Cliffs Of Moher.
