This is an example as to why bookmaking offices absolutely LOVE having tipping columns spread over the racing publications IN SHOP, we have a man looking at the screen going LUMP ON the fugue? that would be the horse who doesnt want a bit of soft ground. Now what upsets me personally is Dansili as a sire on soft ground...there is number to suggest that his progeny dont act AS WELL as they do on gd/ gd fm ground, annoying because PLENTY love a bit of juice. Which brings us onto GIOFRA. wins this

Agreed. I think the Opera is entirely ground dependent for The Fugue, and I don't believe the ground at Longchamp is gonna be to her liking on Sunday. I think Gosden's other filly, Izzi Top, probably stands a better chance of running the bigger race of the 2 on this type of ground. I find it hard to believe this poser just dismisses Giofra so summarily in this race? Proven soft ground form and proven at 10f. She won the G2 Prix D'Harcourt at 10f and was 2nd in the G1 Prix Ganay at 10f. JMO.
