A second Old Roan Chase for Monet's Garden as he scores at Aintree in 2010
Remember this renewal of the Old Roan Chase in 2007? Kauto Star, bidding to land back-to-back victories in the race, just fails to give 14lb to Monet's Garden, himself winning the race for the first of three times.
The one at Kensington Palace was in full bloom this year, bathing in 30C temperatures through June and July, but it wasn't as spectacular as Monet's Garden at Aintree, Ascot or Ayr. Now there was a sight for sore eyes.
