The Group 1 winner Teona, offered in foal to Frankel, became the third highest priced mare ever to be sold at the Tattersalls December Mares Sale when realising 4,500,000 guineas.
Teona, trained by Roger Varian and ridden by Olivier Peslier, has won the Prix Vermeille at ParisLongchamp – beating Snowfall in second.
Sea The Stars filly Teona is out of a Group 1 winner in Ambivalent, and cost decent money when bought as a yearling.
