| Race Synopsis: The Ben Smith-trained mare In Her Time is now unbeaten in four starts this preparation, following up her win in the Breeders’ Classic (Gr 2, 1200m) at Randwick on 4 February with another very good Group win here. She soon crossed to the front and then travelled along well. She turned for home with a good advantage and safely held off her rivals to score quite impressively. Euro Angel raced in seventh place on the rails. She got along the inner from the 300m, went to third at the 100m and kept fighting on for second, having no chance with the winner. Daysee Doom was smartly away from her good barrier (2), settled in third place on the rails and kept fighting on nicely in the straight to take the minor placing in a sound first up effort. | |
