But second best older dirt male horse right now is Gunner Runner with Mor Spirit making his case that there could be a growing battle for second best in the division. Also Shaman Ghost is very good. Is the jockey who rides Texas Chrome, the same one who rode him in one of the triple crown races last year? I mean the jockey who Jerry Bailey described as a "Boy," on National TV, and it slid. Not even a rebuke of Bailey by NBC. A problem when the jockey was an African American man over 21.

Gun Runner is a great horse, but as long as Arrogate still running his owner has to decide if second in the Classic is acceptable.
