don't think Thompson has had a game when he hasn't got a vote, also hes been tagged all year buts he is still getting 100+ dream team votes every game and 25-30+ possessions a game.
Everyone worries too much about the 3votes and forgets that there are also 2 and 1 votes given. Most of Geelongs wins he has been influencial. Swan isn't there at the moment but, we know he finishes like a steam train. Watson has been outstanding and clearly will be leading at this moment in time with Scott Thompson losing votes to Dangerfield, Sloane, Van berlo ect. It's not so clear cut from his point of view either. I think Thompson is more tagable then Watson by a mile.
well there is a couple problems there 1st Geelong aren't playing well and are loosing a few games and 9 times out of 10 3 votes goes to the best player on the winning team 2nd pendles and swan have been injured so there is a few votes that go against them, Watson has been playing terrific, but i just think Thompson has been just that little bit better. i like both teams and i have watched all essendon's and the crows games and i just think Thompson has played better.
I think Thompson is a gun, very deserving player but, I wouldn't say he's infront over Pendles, Watson, J.Selwood at this point in the season. Time will tell and yet stranger things have happened. personally I think J.Selwood would be a contender that no one is mentioning. I have $100 on Watson at $8, $100 on Selwood at $16 and $100 on Swan at $14. I just got my fingers cross one of them get up. preferably Selwood lol.
everyone is forgetting Thompson....... i think hes been playing the best football this year, Watson is having a great season but i think Thompson would be leading brownlow votes so far, his work in the stoppages is the best in the comp (that's the main reason Adelaide are no1 in clearances) and his ability to make space is outstanding!!! also when hes not getting the ball hes applying little blocks to allow players like Dangerfield to take the ball out of the stoppages.

I'm a Hawks fan and believe me I can't stand the Bombers but, Watson is an absolute gun. His 'inside' and 'outside' work right now is second to none.
