My excitement for Melbourne football has gone after watching the Olympics...
There must be a reason why Melbourne's football isn't played in the Olympics...
Collingwood, Hawthorn and Sydney are all good teams but i think because the semi and preliminary are at AAMI stadium (most likely) adelaide will get through to the grand final. We will have to wait and see who there up against. My moneys on collingwood. That would make a good gf.
from now on, it is most likely that Adelaide will get a top 1 or 2 position. They will get a home semi final against either sydney ( they have a tough couple of games coming up), collingwood, or hawthorn. Adelaide play well on their home ground (and because they are a good side). they will most likely win that match. They will proceed to a preliminary final which would be at home and once again, most likely win that. Which would take them to the grand final. I DON'T think they will win that.
As a pies supporter i say lets have some more interstate game.. 16 out of the last 17 wins on the road.. and hang on.. didn't we beat the ..cough.. "mighty" crows in Adelaide without Dane Swan, and with a player down in the last.. also beat Sydney in Sydney... the reason the pies get the amount of MCG matches is because clubs that are poor. count on the revenue from the crowd numbers we get... Adelaide are definitely an improved side.. now they must show it come finals. Also 40 times in 5 years!
and consider the fact that Adelaide finished 14th last year. sure we play GWS and GC twice, but we also play Geelong twice, with one of them in Kardinia Park. oh and Let's look at how many times Collingwood play away from the MCG, for the last 5 years, shall we?
don't think crows are quite good enough to win it this year - but they are definitely going to be a force to be reckoned with over the next few seasons. How good is Dangerfield!!
I'm an Adelaide supporter and I don't want to sound like a dick but the Crows are an amazing side and will dominate just like Geelong has done for the past 5 years. GO CROWS

Crows are good. Probably 6th or 7th if they didnt have the easiest draw. But remember they have had a good run with injuries besides tipett

The Crows beat Sydney at the SCG and they are a much better side now. They can match any team.

Mate you have the easiest draw out of the comp, you play GWS, GCS, and MFC twice, thats like a bye every 3rd round,
crows are better than last year, but no chance can you rate them like cats in 07.
