Watching these races, seeing these big names again, I can't help but think
that these hard-knockers would crush the toothpick-legged champions we have
now. Of course, these are the horses that aren't popular in the breeding
shed. Instead, we shorten the races, lower the weights and quicken the
surfaces and tell ourselves that everything is fine. is it any wonder that
the Euros routinely beat the USA horses now?
