So don't bet on accumulators - Bookies commission is earned from giving short odds - nothing illegal about this, but the more items you add to your accumulator, the greater the commission they earn - basically you're being ripped off. We all know they hold back and that odds are misleading anyway - so use you're head - be patient - and stick to what you know - and only bet small stakes - preferably on singles. Be smart - keep to your system - and best of luck

The jockey club is a farce and either turns a blind eye or is so out of touch with reality. Horse racing (The sport of Kings) is becoming a standing joke as we hear of non-triers, jockeys and trainers being rewarded with money for information and schooling in public. This has got to stop as these greedy corrupt people are taking the piss out of punters. Some Jockeys go 50 or more rides without riding a winner, some nearer to 100, being that useless they should retire or find another job.

Trainers are using jockeys to actually school their horses on public race-courses and this is often seen in races where it is obvious the jockey is not trying and often makes up ground to finish unplaced. Some jockeys ride as if they are stirring a cocktail trying to convince the punters they are trying their best and in saying that, some probably are but would find it hard to win a donkey race with two runners, in other words abosolutely useless.

This has got a lot worse now that there are betting exchanges whereby a jockey and connections knowing that their horse will not win can lay the horse and reap great profit by ensuring that the horse does not win therefore winning vast amounts of money by not even gaining access to the winning enclosure. It is absolutely disgusting as the average punter has no chance whilst this deceit and corruption exists.

It's despicable! When you think of how honest the Supermarket Chains, the Legal Profession, the Banking Industry, the 'Political Industry', the Media Industry...including TV...all are. I rest my case of freshly laundered cash. 'Joe Gobshite', who is always the victim of the above, will pick up the tab. And, 'Joe', don't forget that there's a 'double header' on Sunday. Just wondering what the odds against 'Joe' getting the third brain cell is/are?

The BBC have now lost most of their racing coverage. The BBC allowed this documentary to be shown in order to expose a sport they consider corrupt and bent. It just shows how crass the Corporation is. They did something similar before the World Cup vote. When is someone going to pull the plug on these types of so-called 'serious' investigation! It didn't help that the 'investigative reporter' was an obnoxious twit.

you are right, it's an honorary debt and we don't have to pay out on a bet even after it's won. of course the punter does have IBAS that do police the industry incase of disputes...

What I understand from this is VC did nothing wrong hence he's still around. We may not agree with giving trainers a certain amount of free bets but if there was no law in place at the time the jockey club could hardly charge VC with being clever. If Panorama were so clever why didn't they know that at the time and if they did why pull people up who weren't breaking any laws?

Fixed races are very rare, but if you're going to tell us you've never been asked to give a horse an easy race and not be bothered about winning, I don't believe you.
