The Grade two feature provided a thrilling finale with two Willie Mullins-trained runners rising to the fore. Blue Lord, the 5/6 favourite, edged home by a neck under Paul Townend from the rallying Tornado Flyer, who went off at 9/2. This should set the latter up nicely for his defence of the Ladbrokes King George VI Chase at Kempton next month
