Rain, Mud, and a some bumper to bumper action made for an exciting stop of the Red Bull Global Rallycross series in Washington DC. A downpour just before the finals washed out the track for the final two sessions, meaning the main event would be a clean slate for the first two rows of drivers. Fortunately for Speed, the polesitter, he was able to retain the top spot coming around the course for the first time, while Sandell, twice a podium finisher in DC over the past two years, jumped to second.
