Has won this race for the last two years, though not at his best when it was tight with Melon in 2018; just two defeats over hurdles, most recently when finding stablemate Verdana Blue much better suited by Kempton on Boxing Day (2m, good to soft; he's well suited by soft); looked his old self in every department when winning at Sandown since and a massive effort can be expected with this unique test suiting him so well.
