Verdict: THISTLECRACK
Had some real scraps in his time, including when making all and toughing it out very gamely to win this on soft ground last year; ultra-dependable sort who has kept plugging away in two creditable runs this season, last time well-held third behind two of these in the King George at Christmas; the greater accent on stamina here is a big plus and good chance he'll run to something like last year's winning form; a contender if he does.
