Cirrus Des Aigles ran a game effort against Frankel in the Champion Stakes, but in fairness the ground favored him much more than it did Frankel at Ascot that day. That said, he's a fantastic horse in his own right who certainly doesn't have hang his head. I've always said it's unfortunate geldings aren't permitted to run in the Arc because I believe Cirrus Des Aigles is actually a better horse when he stretches on out to 12f than he is at 10f, and he's very, very good at 10f. JMO.

Absolutely fantastic horse. But, I really think Frankel is better. We'll see. The Caulfield Cup and Frankel's last race tomorrow!!
