On 29 October 2011, a certain Don Cossack impressed at Naas to win his first race under Rules for trainer Gordon Elliott, jockey Nina Carberry and owners Gigginstown House Stud. The gelding went on to win six Grade 1s in a glittering career, headlined by victory in the 2016 Cheltenham Gold Cup on his final career start.
