    Secretariat the Greatest for Me.His performance in the Belmont was breathtaking.........No Horse that has ever been foaled would have beat Him that day.......in My opinion.

    good arc on paper but struggled to beat shadari in king george lost twice frankel champion 2y 3y 4y dont think he was the best pat sat on pebbles champion stakes golden fleece derby

    The ratings didn't start until 1977, so Mill Reef, Brigadier Gerard, Nijinsky or Sea Bird aren't included as they're talking about horses rated on the International Classifications.

    I agree with you . If you look at the Arc field that DB ran in, he beat the best Arc field ever assembled in history and beat them all with lengths to spare . Frankel beat some also rans, the horses behind him in the 2000 gunnies were donkeys.

    Frankel is one of the greatest horses there has ever been but to rate the horse best ever is ludicrous. The devastating speed of Dancing Brave. Nijinsky in 1970 a triple Crown winner & the following year 1971 was the year in which two of the greatest racehorses ever Brigadier Gerard & Mill Reef performed to their best. Only difference Brigadier Gerard was a firm Ground specialist & Mill Reef was probably the greatest horse ever on soft or heavy ground. These horses were Champions of their time.
