It's true clay is slower and Serena couldn't hit her best...but ANYONE that can beat Serena has my respect. The 2016 French open was not a gift...Serena was playing well. Garbine was just playing better.

I found out a little more about this one. She beat Serena in the 2nd round of the French 2014 in straight sets. In 2016 she beat Serena again to win the French open.
6 feet tall. Big power. The problem with Muguruza in the Wimbledon draw is her 1st opponent in the 4th round is the world #1 Kerber...which means she doesn't get to play Venus...even though Garmine has beaten Serena...
Other choices...Coco...Garcia looking good...Ostapapenko too inexperienced and erratic...needs a new serve (120 mph instead and a Federer 2nd serve).
