We will never see another Triple Crown Winner in our lifetime. The breed needs conserving. These horses are overly built on top but have toothpicks for legs. I know, I rescue failed racehoses all the time. The entire sport should be shut down via the RICO Act. Drugs interfere with Gambling and these horses are doped every day of their life. The movie "Dreamer" (2005) was loosely based on the story of Mariah's Storm, who fractured her cannon bone in the 93 Alcibiades Stakes. She is the granddam of Giant Ryan. If you peruse this family, the amount of breakdowns is staggering. Unsoundness is a hallmark and curse on this family. So sad- noble steeds with inherent imperfections that lead to death.
