Tidal Bay was up there with them for too much of the race for the pace to have been true enough. He only got outpaced once the tempo was increased. He's usually held up because he can't normally go with them. It was a sprint from 4 out and that favours a front runner.

My money is on him for the Gold Cup. Followed this horse for a long time, seriously talented with a great engine.
