IRELAND SPENT €79MILLION LAST YEAR TO HOUSE 6,000 ASYLUM SEEKERS Officials admitted the true cost could be €158million in one year, they said education, social welfare, and health will also have to paid for and are not included in that cost. Meanwhile our own Irish ppl - cancer patients, disabled ppl, respite care for seriously ill children who need 10million a year in Leinster - are deprived healthcare. Africans and Arabs come here, using our resources, not giving a damn how it affects us.

indeed, Robin, and Richard Pitman was on board all three. I remember a poignant interview with him years after when the distress still showed - he felt all 3 were his fault. His marriage suffered as a consequence, he said. Re Fred Winter's thoughts - it's always easy to imagine that potential translates into brilliance, however, so we'll never know how good he could have been. Though it's arguable that Bula and Pendil never reached their absolute potential, either!

Great clips of a top class chaser cut down before he could fulfill his potential. Again many thanks for taking the trouble to upload these clips.

Losing the Gold Cup and the National in the shadow of the post *and* your potential best horse ever in a few weeks - one of the worst runs of luck of any trainer, ever. The Golden Cygnet of chasing ... Of course, the Scilly Isles Novices Chase had been transferred from Sandown while that course was being rebuilt - obviously so because it's ITV commentary when Kempton was otherwise a Beeb fiefdom.

Fred Winter is on record as saying Killiney was the best horse he ever trained high praise indeed from a man who trained the likes of champions Lanzarotte Bula and Pendil amonst numerous other top class performers. Such a shame that Killiney was killed at Ascot before he had a chance to prove his trainers faith. The footage shown is the 1971 Players no6 Novice Hurdle Final and the Scilly Isles Nov Chase.
