In Jim Bolger's yard in Ireland last season, Banimpire was a highly competitive filly. She won the G3 Ballysax Stakes, G3 Blue Wind Stakes, G3 Noblesse Stakes, and G2 Royal Whip Stakes all in Ireland. She also won the G2 Ribblesdale Stakes at Ascot during the 2011 royal meeting. She was 2nd to Blue Bunting in the G1 Irish Oaks, 3rd behind Nahrain and Announce in the G1 Prix De l' Opera in France, and 5th in both G1 Irish 1000 Guineas and G1 Yorkshire Oaks. She's much better than she was here.
