Off the track since September, 2012 and Certify cruises up still on the bridal and rolls home under a hand ride by Mickael Barzalona to win the G2 Cape Verdi and keep her unbeaten record in tact. Very impressive performance by this filly for such a long layoff. Flotilla has to be the big disappointment of the race. I thought she'd be much more of a factor in this race than she ended up being, but she found nothing in the straight for Christophe Lemaire once she came off the bridal. Maybe Flotilla will improve for this run if Mikel Delzangles decides to bring her back for the G2 Balanchine next month?
