I can't say enough about how impressive Ihtimal was in this race. Stepping in trip from 1600 to 1900 meters for the first time in her career and IMO she looked even better at this distance than she did when she won the UAE 1000 Guineas at 1600 meters in her start prior to this. It's not often you'll see a filly win the UAE Oaks by 10 lengths, but Ihtimal did. Given how impressive she was in this race I wouldn't be surprised to see her become the ante-post favorite over stablemate Long John for the UAE Derby on world cup night if the connections decide to let her take on the boys.
