When in doubt about what horse to back in a race on opening night of the
Dubai Carnival you can never go wrong backing a Mike De Kock trained horse
if there's one in the field as was the case with Anaerobio in this race. As
much as any trainer I've seen in Dubai over the years, Mike De Kock has
excelled at having his horses fit and ready to run by carnival time,
although he always gives that sheepish looking smile as he's claiming his
horses will likely need the run and will come on from their first race.
