Vercingetorix is the best horse racing at this year's Dubai Carnival in my opinion, from anyone's stable. He's most definitely a legitimate international G1 level horse. I think he'll win the G1 Dubai Duty Free also and leave Dubai with his unbeaten record still in tact. He'll then get shipped to Sha Tin for the G1 Audemars Piguet QE II Cup in April, and possibly on to Kranji for the G1 Singapore Airlines International Cup in May. Shades of the brilliant Lizard's Desire for Mike De Kock in 2010 who missed by a whisker winning the G1 Dubai World Cup, then went to Sha Tin and ran 2nd behind Viva Pataca in the AE-P-QEII Cup and then went on to Kranji where he won the G1 SAIC, reversing the DWC form with Gloria De Campeao. De Kock also sent his top race mare River Jetez to those 2 races after finishing 2nd to Presvis in the 2011 Duty Free, so he's definitely not shy about sending horses he believes are good enough to be competitive on to other top international G1 races after the Dubai Carnival wraps. Vercingetorix has already shown he belongs in the top races in Dubai and I think he's more than talented enough to be competitive in Hong Kong & Singapore, IMO.

Love this horse!! One of my favorite horses racing in Dubai this year. Vercingetorix, IMO, is definitely a legitimate international G1 horse, and didn't seem to have to work that hard to win this international G1 race. I think Vercingetorix will win the G1 Dubai Duty Free on world cup night and leave Dubai with 2 more G1's on his resume' with his unbeaten record still in tact. If that happens, expect to see him at Sha Tin in April for a crack at the G1 Audemars Piguet QE II Cup and depending on how he fares in Hong Kong, possibly a trip to Kranji in May to run in the G1 Singapore Airlines International Cup. Outstanding run by Godolphin's Vancouverite too, finishing 2nd coming off a 6 month layoff from having last raced in France in mid-September in the G2 Prix Niel.
