good idea! My OTTB was a 'bad gate horse' She had NOT TO BE RACED scrawled across her papers when I took her off the track in the early '70's, despite 17 races and many placements. She was difficult to load in a trailer to the end of her days - you never knew if she would walk in, or take an hour haha, but an awesome jumper - 4'11" courses were easy to her and she was amazing at so many other things. Definitely learned a lot from her and am still riding and eventing today.
