The depth of turf racing in Europe is so much deeper than it is in America it isn't even funny. Racing in Great Britain, Seek Again had raced only one time outside of handicaps, finishing 2nd in a conditions stakes in October 2012 and had raced solely at handicap level every since. Prior to coming stateside for this race, he finished 5th in the Betfred Cambridgeshire at Newmarket in September, one of the bigger weight for age Heritage Handicaps in Great Britain. Then he went to York in October and won a Class 2 Handicap for 3yo colts, geldings, & fillies rated 0-100 by 1-3/4 lengths. Then he ships to America and in his first start ever in group/graded stakes company, at G1 level no less, he wins the G1 Hollywood Derby standing on his head.

Bill Mott is gonna love Prince Khalid Abdullah transferring Seek Again to his yard from Juddmonte Farms operation in Great Britain. Trainer John Gosden, who trained Seek Again in the UK, has beem raving about this horse's ability for sometime now. Gosden's had previously said he thought Seek Again might be one of his better 10f horses in 2014 to be pointed at races like the G1 Prince of Wales's Stakes, G1 Coral-Eclipse, etc...

A really nice horse this one.He has won 4 of his 8 races so far and the one's he's been beat in have been excellent efforts on his part.I imagine he will stay over there now and should prove to be a difficult customer to beat..IMO..
