Honest Argentinian-bred who is just a notch below the top guns at Kranji. Runs mainly on turf but three of his four wins were recorded on Polytrack, at his only three attempts. Has two Group 3 wins to his credit but best run was arguably his second to War Affair in last year’s Group 1 Panasonic Kranji Mile (1600m). Trialled well on May 7 and is in tip-top shape. No win over 2000m against him. Job ahead at this level even with Joao Moreira in the irons.
