I definitely expect to see a much more inspired run from Churchill on Wednesday in the G1 Sussex Stakes than we saw from him at the royal meeting in the G1 St James's Palace Stakes. I don't know if he'll prove good enough to beat Ribchester at Goodwood or not, but the weight for age break he gets from Ribchester should definitely help his cause. I would add, just because Churchill had the one sub-par run back in June at Royal-Ascot, summarily dismissing him now because of it is at your own peril, IMO.
